Winter chills don’t stop motor thrills

Sunday May 4 saw a chilly and windy day for round two of the Narrabri Dirt Bike Club Championships.
Around 30 riders from various clubs including Coonamble, Dubbo, Tamworth, Gunnedah, Moree and Narrabri all braved the cold, wet conditions which proved ideal in keeping the dust at away.
The weather did not dampen anyone’s spirits and certainly not the
local youngsters from Narrabri, who were waiting for the gates to open from 6:30am.
The Mothers Day raffle was a great success thanks to generous local businesses and drawn on the day, with first place going to Todd Low.
Second prize went to Glenn Stoltenberg, with Lex Gordon taking third.

Nippers Division 1:
1. Bella Suckling, 2. Charlie Bennett, 3. Mason Heywood, 4. Declan Rooney.
Division 2 (competitive):
1. Jaxon Page, 2. Rhys Bower, 2. Dekoda Jackson.
Junior 65cc:

Senior 55cc:

Round 3 will be held Sunday June 1, with everyone welcome to come and watch.
The Narrabri Dirt Bike Club meet every month at Newtown Park.
Full canteen facilities will be operating and only a gold coin donation at the gate.
