The Nationals Primary Industry Resources and Energy Policy Committee inspected Santos’ Pilliga gas project recently on an information gathering tour.
The committee is one of five policy committees of the Nationals Central Council, the body which governs the state party.
The group has previously inspected the Camden AGL gas project which has been running for eight years and came to look at the Santos gas project in the development phase.
There were 23 in the team, accompanied by Senator John Williams, Member for Parkes Mr Coulton and Member for Barwon Mr Humphries.
