The attention of the region’s business community was focussed on Narrabri on Friday evening when the second New England North West Regional Business Awards presentations dinner was staged at The Crossing Theatre.
The event drew an audience of 100 with business operators from a wide area represented.
Guests included the Minister for Land and Water Mr Kevin Humphries and Member for Parkes, Mr Mark Coulton.
Narrabri Chamber of Commerce was a finalist in the Best Local Business Chamber category, with the award going to Tamworth Chamber of Commerce.
Category winners from the awards proceed as finalists to the NSW Business Chamber State Awards, with the state winners to be announced on November 28 in Sydney.
“They will showcase New England North West business excellence on a state-wide stage!” said Regional Manager, NSW Business Chamber, Mr Kellon Beard.
