Mrs Jeanette Hill said today the family was anxiously awaiting any new information on the circumstances around the death of her daughter Penny Hill at Coolah in 1991.
A television program on Sunday night re-visited the murder investigation into the death of Miss Hill.
Police and the family hope that the program will jog someone’s memory or prompt someone new to come forward with information.
The Courier’s story on the program attracted 15,000 views on Facebook, a response Mrs Hill said was ‘awesome’ and which helped increase viewer numbers and coverage.
“I am not aware of any new information in the program,” Mrs Hill said.
“But we hope someone will come forward.
“There have been some phone calls but I don’t know any details as yet.
I haven’t been able to discuss it properly yet with Det. Sergeant Jason Darcy. I will be talking him again on Friday.”
Mrs Hill said she had been approached by two national magazines about Penny’s case.
Last week, Det. Darcy said that in the past each time Penny’s case had been the subject of media coverage further information had come forward.
