A meeting tomorrow in Narrabri between the mayor, transport department and local MP will discuss the future of air travel in Narrabri.
It comes amid ongoing concerns with Brindabella Airlines, which services the Narrabri to Sydney route.
Transport for NSW Deputy Director General of Policy and Regulation, Tim Reardon, Narrabri Shire mayor Conrad Bolton and Barwon MP Kevin Humphries will discuss concerns and solutions tomorrow.
Cr Bolton said the meeting will discuss regional delivery of air services into Narrabri.
“Narrabri Shire is extremely concerned with service reliability, and we want to relay our concerns directly to the state government,” Cr Bolton said.
“We have supported the air service in the past and we would dearly love to see them lift their level of service to meet the expectations of our community.
“They’re certainly not doing that at the moment.”
