The region is looking a little greener after a week of rain which has brought relief to many people across the north west.
Narrabri West Lake went from completely dry to overflowing in just several days, while Yarrie Lake also received a welcome boost.
According to official figures from the Bureau of Meteorology, Narrabri received the most rainfall across the district.
Narrabri Airport recorded 171.2mm between March 21 and 29, with the heaviest falls on March 27 and 28.
Boggabri received 123.2mm while Wee Waa recorded 137.7. Across the rest of the region, Gunnedah received 138.6mm, Moree 82.6mm and Walgett 30.4mm.
Despite the official figures, some properties out of town recorded even more of a downpour according to rain gauges.
