Friendly Faces Helping Hands Foundation CEO Kelly Foran has a new set of wheels to help her raise awareness her organisation.
Santos has donated a second-hand, 2004 Toyota Landcruiser to help Kelly travel.
Operations manager Kym Bailey said the vehicle was part of the company’s fleet and was due to join the trade in pool, but staff believed it could benefit the local charity instead.
“We recognise that it’s so difficult for charities such as Friendly Faces Helping Hands to get broad
corporate sponsorship for their important work,” he said.
“This provided us with that opportunity to be able to recognise some of the smaller charities.”
Kelly often spends three days out of every week on the road to deliver presentations about her foundation to conferences and other events in NSW, Queensland and
Victoria.
“It’s just going to be amazing,” Kelly said of the donation, which means no more wear and tear on her family car while representing the foundation.
